This policy explains what information AllConvert handles, why, and what choices you have. We have tried to keep it short and readable.
- Files you convert are never uploaded — all processing happens in your browser.
- We collect the minimum data possible and store none of it ourselves.
- We are transparent about the one exception: advertising.
1. The files you convert
Every conversion on AllConvert runs locally in your web browser using JavaScript. Your files are read, converted and saved entirely on your own device. They are never transmitted to our servers or to any third party, we keep no copies, and we have no technical ability to see their contents. When you close the page, nothing about your files remains anywhere.
2. Information collected automatically
Like virtually every website, the server that delivers this page (our hosting provider, Cloudflare) records standard technical logs such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running; we do not use them to identify you and we do not combine them with any other data.
3. Advertising
AllConvert is free because it is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Specifically:
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.
We do not pass any information about your files or conversions to advertisers — advertisers receive nothing from us beyond the standard ad request made by your browser.
4. Cookies
The converter itself does not set cookies and does not track your activity. Cookies on this site come only from the advertising described above. You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the converter will keep working normally without them.
5. Third-party libraries
Some converters use open-source libraries (for reading PDFs, spreadsheets and similar formats) that your browser downloads from public content delivery networks such as cdnjs, jsDelivr and SheetJS the first time they are needed. This is a normal script download: your browser requests the library file, and the CDN sees the same standard technical information as any web server (such as your IP address). The contents of your files are never sent to these CDNs or anywhere else.
6. Information you send us
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply to you, we do not add you to any mailing list, and we do not share it with anyone.
7. Children
This site is a general-audience tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above. Substantive changes will be visible here before they take effect.
