Convert HEIC to JPG Online Free

iPhones save photos in HEIC format by default. It is a great format for saving storage space, but it causes problems when you try to open those photos on a Windows PC, share them on a website, or attach them to an email. AllConvert turns HEIC files into universally compatible JPGs, entirely in your browser.

Why won't my HEIC photos open?

HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) is Apple's default photo format since iOS 11. While it offers excellent compression, support outside the Apple ecosystem is still patchy. Many Windows programs, email clients, and social media platforms expect JPG. Converting to JPG gives you a file that works everywhere.

How does the conversion work?

When you drop a HEIC file onto AllConvert, a small open-source decoder library (about 1 MB) loads in your browser the first time. It decodes the HEIC data into raw pixel data, which is then re-encoded as a JPG at 92% quality. The entire process runs on your device. Your photos are never sent to a server, making it completely private and safe.
